Hi, my name is Matt Thomas. I grew up on a dairy farm in Dundas, MN. I now reside in Faribault, MN, with my wife Stefanie and our three children, Matthew (12), Elizabeth (10), and Lenorah (8).
We purchased our little slice of heaven in the summer of 2019 from Steve Twiehoff. Steve had run Twiehoff Gardens and Nursery for 50-plus years. My family and I wanted to continue the great history that Steve had started and continue the rich history of nurseries in the Faribault area. Farming has always been in my blood, so I was really excited to make this purchase! One thing I truly enjoy is getting my three kids involved in different ways. Teaching them the value of hard work, teamwork and family values.
Thomas Gardens serves Faribault, Northfield, and the surrounding communities with flowers, plants, garden items, farm-fresh vegetables, and locally made products such as honey & maple syrup. In the fall we have plenty of pumpkins of all kinds to choose from, plus squash, gourds, and all your fall favorites. In Wintertime, we have MN-grown fresh Christmas trees, spruce tops, and everything you need to deck the halls for the holiday season.
